Celtic Dream Tours was founded by Fiona Hunter Prosser in January 1999. Fiona was born in the North of England in Bishop Auckland of a Scottish Father and English Mother.

After growing up in Canada and the USA she returned to Scotland in 1975 and lived in and around Glasgow and the Clyde Valley for 10 years. Working in the hospitality and advertising industries, she got married at Dalserf Church just outside of Rosebank on the River Clyde, to Ian Prosser, a lifelong resident of the area. They had 2 children, Aymee, born in Lanark, and Zoe born in Rutherglen. In 1985 the family emigrated to Tampa, Florida where they still reside. A son Jordan was born in Brandon Florida a few years later.

As well as having travelled extensively around the country while living there, she has now completed over 50 tours to Scotland over the last 11 years. In 2010 we have added Ireland to our tour choices as we have had many clients ask for this over the years, however Fiona believes that you can’t really know a country unless you have lived there so was hesitant at first. But we have now added Ireland and some of our new tours include both Countries. Our Distinctive Journeys have shown many clients the real Scotland and Ireland, the back roads, places off the beaten track, not just the cities! Places only a native knows! Our clients know that when they book with us, they will have not only a tour, but a fun filled, action packed vacation of a lifetime! Scotland and Ireland have a wonderful history and we want our clients to live it, not just hear about it.

We always use a luxury midi-coach for our groups, you are never crammed into a mini-bus, and you always have plenty of room to spread out. We never cancel our tours, and we make sure that you have the best local accommodation available! We use historical properties, mostly privately owned castles, mansions and Boutique city hotels which will cater to your every whim.
